Celtic Drums.
There are eight drums in our online store that follow the Celtic musical heritage. All of them have a soothing and melodic sound that creates a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Celtic music includes Scottish rhythms, English folk songs and Irish ballads. So melodies of these tongue drums and pans can remind you of medieval feast songs.
B Celtic minor is a beginner's scale. So if you have never played any instrument or recently started your journey with a RAV Vast, this will be your best Celtic drum.
D Celtic minor and B Celtic Double Ding are medium-level proficiency steel tongue drums. They create very similar moods, yet the second one has a lower voice. They are both perfect for meditation or mindfulness practices as their serene and profound sound allows them to reach a particular state of mind.
We have two Celtic handpans – D Celtic minor and B Celtic minor. Their note layout repeats their RAV Vast brothers. However, the Heartbeats air diffuser, a part of any handpan, provides greater power and volume to the sound. So when playing a handpan Celtic minor outside, be sure they will hear you, regardless of the noises.
Our special edition is 432Hz RAV Vast drums. In the Celtic culture section, there are three scales, repeating the names of the traditional 440Hz drums. By lowering the pitch by just 8 Hz, we created an instrument with such a familiar sound but with more significant power and influence. 432Hz is called "the Planet's Breath". There is even scientific proof connected with electromagnetic frequencies. We explain it (and the difference between 440 and 432 Hz) more thoroughly in our article here. Thus, a 432Hz tongue drum is mighty and spiritual.
