The instrument itself is a wonderful experience while playing it, admiring it and listening to it.

Have in mind that all the instructions when it comes to choosing a Rav are more or less subjective and hard to put accurately into words. So, listen as many different types of scales and ways of playing and try to answer the question what would you like to do most of the time on your Rav.
