I am in love with my RAV Vast! I'm so glad I chose the G Pygmy tuning! It is very easy to improvise and there are very few notes that don't sound beautiful following each other. I play a number of instruments, but I've never taken to anything the way I took to this drum! The sound is gorgeous, it looks beautiful, and I really want to play it! I think about playing it while I'm at work and can't wait to get home to sit down and make music! If the price has you in doubt, don't let it! This is easily the most fun instrument I have ever owned, and the ability to just sit down and invent a song off the top of my head is such an incredible feeling!
