Learning to play the steel drums: 5 RAV Vast® lessons for beginners
Learning the steel drums is actually very easy
You have just unpacked your RAV Vast®. Congratulations! Here it’s time to start playing, but… ugh...
"Beautiful. But I could never do that"
You hear it. That first video of someone playing RAV. The sound stops you mid-scroll, and the thought creeps in:
"I've never played an instrument before".
"What if I buy it and just... can't?"
What if your first try already sounded like music?
Not after weeks of practice. Not after YouTube tutorials. Right now. The moment your fingers touch steel.
Want to play songs you actually love?
We've handpicked the scales that play back. The ones that don't wait for you to "get good." They meet you exactly where you are.
